STEP 1–Document Submission

In order to setup the foreign company in Lombok, prepare the following:

STEP 2–Company Name Verification

Company name must at least consist of three words and not containing the word like enterprise, corporation, company and any word alike. Once the name is verified –has no prohibited word and no name duplication– the name will be approved by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Step 3–Article of Association

Wirajagat & Partners prepares the Article of Association draft. All company founders must sign it before it is registered to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. In case of founder absence, he/she can give his/her power of attorney to any qualified person.

Step 4–Domiciliary Card

It is necessary to identify where the company domiciles as it’s related to which government subsidiary will issue local licenses.

Step 5–Tax Identification Number

Tax ID is required not only for tax matters, but also often required for licenses applications and banking activities.

Step 6–Legal Entity (PMA Company) Approval

The Ministry of Law and Human Rights will issue an approval document for the registered company. By the This time, the company has come into existence.

Step 7–Business Identification Number (NIB) Issuance

The PMA company is entitled to access the Investment Coordinating Board online support to obtain the NIB and to submit Business Activity Report and other online supporting facilities for PMA company.

Step 8– Business and Operational Licenses

Depending on the business area and the business location, sectoral and local licenses may apply. For example, commercial and tourism licenses may be required for hotel and restaurant, which is applied to local government.
